3/8" Chainsaw Rim Sprocket 7 Tooth Standard 7 Spline for STIHL
Dimensions: od=35mm, id=22.5mm, 7.6mm thick
Professional quality 3/8" pitch 7-tooth chainsaw rim sprocket designed for chainsaws using a standard 7 spline clutch drum system.
Manufactured from tough, wear-resistant hardened steel for durability and reliable power transfer from the chainsaw engine to the saw chain. The floating rim sprocket design allows the chain to align naturally with the guide bar, helping provide smooth chain operation and even wear.
The 7-tooth configuration is the standard choice for many professional STIHL chainsaws running 3/8" pitch chain, making this an ideal replacement for a worn or damaged chainsaw drive sprocket.
Suitable for professional forestry, arborist work, firewood cutting, farming and general chainsaw maintenance.

WHY REPLACE YOUR CHAINSAW RIM SPROCKET?
The drive sprocket is a wear component and should be inspected regularly. As the sprocket wears, the drive surfaces can become grooved or uneven, which can contribute to premature saw chain wear, vibration and poor chain engagement.
Replacing a worn 3/8" chainsaw rim sprocket helps maintain smooth chain movement and protects your chain and guide bar from unnecessary wear.
The replaceable rim design also means the sprocket rim can be changed without replacing the complete clutch drum, provided the existing drum is still serviceable.
7 TOOTH OR 8 TOOTH?
A 7-tooth rim sprocket is the standard configuration for many chainsaws and provides an excellent balance between chain speed and cutting torque.
An 8-tooth rim sprocket increases chain speed but also requires more power from the chainsaw. For most standard replacement applications, we recommend matching the tooth count, pitch and spline configuration of your existing sprocket.
IMPORTANT FITMENT INFORMATION
Chainsaw models can have different clutch drums and sprocket configurations depending on model, year and previous modifications.
Always check your existing sprocket before ordering and confirm:
• Pitch – 3/8"
• Tooth Count – 7 Tooth
• Spline – Standard 7 Spline
